As a Ramp Agent, execute administrative and operational tasks including data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service in front-line operations. Ensure timely completion of processes with accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards. Identify anomalies, apply judgment to resolve issues, and escalate complex matters as needed.

Utilize communication methods to share information effectively with customers, team members, and departments. Collaborate closely to ensure accuracy and timely processes while maintaining compliance with FedEx processes, legislation, and regulations. Adhere to safety protocols, contributing to a safe working environment for all.

Responsibilities

  • Execute administrative and operational tasks such as data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service in front-line operation
  • Ensure timely completion of defined processes and procedures with accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal and external standards
  • Identify anomalies and apply judgment to resolve issues, escalating complex matters to senior team members as necessary
  • Utilize appropriate communication methods to understand and share information effectively with customers, team members, and other departments
  • Maintain ongoing compliance with FedEx processes, relevant legislation, external regulations, and predefined agreements
  • Validate and complete accurate and timely reporting, supporting research and collation of relevant data for analysis
  • Collaborate closely with the team and other departments to ensure accuracy of information and timely completion of processes
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, contributing to a safe working environment for all team members
